Which Aircraft?
Determining the most suitable aircraft depends on the priorities of those undertaking the charter. People use private aircraft for all sorts of reasons and criteria used for selecting the most appropriate aircraft will generally include:
- Number of people travelling
- Destinations to be visited
- In-flight service requirements
- In-cabin comfort levels
- Baggage capacity required
- Budget
In practice, each of these criteria will have different priorities from one group to the next. Therefore someone wishing to take 8 people to the main airport in Moscow, with a generous budget, will bring some very exotic aircraft into the picture. Whilst another person wishing to fly 8 people to a small airfield just outside Paris will have relatively few options, as there are a limited number of aircraft of that capacity which are able to land on small runways.
Internally aircraft will have numerous facilities and levels of comfort. For a journey of about 1.5 Hrs, there is generally less need to have ovens and galley facilities onboard. The longer the journey the greater the need for:
- Space
- Wash Room facilities
- Galley facilities
- Flight Attendant
- In Flight Entertainment facilities
- Communications facilities
- Seats which convert to divan beds
With a consequential charter cost implication, commensurate with their size and level of internal facilities and comfort.
Expedient Jet Charter takes great care to understand the priorities of each client, thereby ensuring their particular needs are attended to and the most appropriate aircraft recommended for their charter.
